Getting Giving Going! Gift Day

There has been a month long Stewardship campaign running - this period of examining our own personal giving will end with a Gift Day on Sunday July 11th.  This boost in income will help towards paying our Ministry Share this year, which will be a challenge, and release the church to engage more in the community with mission and outreach.

Benefice Sunday School

The Benefice has centralised the provision of Sunday School at St. John's Church, Priory Street on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.  This provision is up and running and working well.  There are currently around 15 children on the books from 2 to 15.  They have a number of activities which are tailored to their age - all the Youth Workers and their helpers have been cleared to work with children, and the Benefice does have a Safeguarding Policy and Officer, should anyone like more information.

Children can be dropped in St. John's at 10.40 am.  Please ask when dropping your children at St. John's the arrangements for picking them up.  For more information click here.

Thursday Morning Benefice Coffee and Prayers

We usually meet at David Foster's (tel.243558) house (13 Llwyn Meredith). Please contact him for directions.

Stay and Play

The popular parish parent and toddler group meets on Fridays in term time at the regular time of 10 am and finishing at 11.30 am. If you are able to help, either by being an encouraging 'popper inner' or by being able to make the teas and coffees from time to time, please do - this is an essential parish resource and link with the community.
